Defence Medal, 1939-1945 War Medal, 1918-62 General Service Medal, Clasp Palestine 1945-48 fixed type suspension, Medal correctly engraved in the usual RAF style: ‘575976 Cpl. D.F. Worgan R.A.F.’
Worgan’s service number is from the pre WW2 RAF apprentices block. The ‘Gloucester Citizen’ newspaper, 21/12/1938 refers to a Donald Forest Worgan, Lidney Grammar School gaining an RAF apprenticeship. This is almost certainly the same man.
