1506 Driver Benjamin Morley Ruddick Durham Fortress Royal Engineers, Enlisted 2/8/1915 age19. Lived 8 Gray St. North Blyth, Northumberland.  (Cambois) Occupation is given as ‘Sheetman’/ Railway Clerk. Later numbered 470968. Arrived in France 22/4/17. Final unit at discharge is given as “22nd Brigade RFA Signal Sub Section RE, attached 8(Hants) Fire Command”
1939 Register shows Ruddick living at 22 Rowley Street Blyth with his wife and daughter. Occupation is given as an LNER Docks Coal Trimmer and the register shows ‘Northumberland Special Constable’
