Lived 27 Lyndhurst Gardens, Glasgow.  Enlisted 27th Aug 1914, 9th HLI. Civilian occupation Telegraphist. Served overseas with the 52nd (Lowland) Division Signals, Royal Engineers. Regimental number 2575 and 418069. Awarded the Military Medal, London Gazette 19th Aug 1919.
