William Thomas Cadge, born Long Melford Parish, Suffolk; living Brooklyn Rd. Dovercourt Essex on enlistment. -Cadge enlisted 18th Nov 1915, aged 30. Appears to have served with 5th and 80th field companies, and was wounded with the latter in July 1917 ‘GSW neck, chest, L. arm, sev.‘ Sent to the UK but returned to F&F in April 1918 and served in the 5th Field Coy. – Intended address on discharge is given a ‘31 New St, Sudbury, Suffolk‘.
