A Pension index card shows James Malone received a gunshot wound to the left arm, discharged 22/2/19. Born 1888, married, lived Lockside Cottage, Fort William. Address on another later card for his widow’s claim is given as 14 Linnhe Rd, Fort William.
Malone’s MIC shows he arrived in theatre 13th Aug 1914, also served with the North Staffs Regt.
