Hospital admissions book for No. 18 General Hospital (France) shows Mylett, John, 2nd Lancashire Fusiliers, attached 2nd East Lancashire Regiment (‘B’ Coy) , Age 30. “VIII (4) R. Ulna, Sev”. Wounds were received at Le Transloy 23/10/16 Mylett’s religion is recorded as Roman Catholic and he spent 9 days here before being moved.
(“VIII (4)” type wounds are gunshot wounds of upper extremities with compound bone fractures.)
